Kalchakra Medicine Garden

The institute also owns a very important vegetated land known as medicine garden. It is maintained by the sowa-rigpa department to be used like an experimental land as well as a pedagogical tool. They have various plants related with different herbs like Amla, herbal medicines etc. This well fortified garden area is often visited by various international scholars as well as our students who are taught about the art of preserving the herbs, transporting them from the Himalayan region and implanting them in the land of Sarnath.
