Geshe Lobsang Gyatso

Geshe Lobsang Gyatso is from Drepung Gomang Monastic University Mundgod where he completed Geshe Lharampa degree (equivalent to Ph.D.), after studing Vinaya, Abhidharma, Madhyamika, Prajnaparamita and epistemology.In addition, he has been a science leadership Fellow (2008-13) from Library of Tibetan Works and Archives (Center for Tibetan Studies), and was awarded certificate on completion for a five-year curriculum in Mathematics, Biology, Neuroscience and Physics from Emory University in U.S.A.

He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Buddhist Philosophy and Teaches Science, Math and Tibetan Grammar etc. through Dialectics at Centre for Teacher Education, Faculty of Shabda Vidya.

His research interest is centered on how to teach science, Math, Tibetan grammar through dialectics. Geshe Lobsang also writes on teaching Science, Math and Tibetan Grammar through Dialectics and Epistemology. Geshe Lobsang Gyatso has special interest in organizing workshops on teaching various subjects through dialectics besides reading books.
