P. Shushmita Vatsyayan

P. Shushmita Vatsyayan is pursuing Ph.D. (submitted) from Banaras Hindu University and teaches English at the Centre for Teacher Education. She uses literature as a means to stimulate the consciousness of students. The spectrum of her teaching practice is vast and dynamic, comprising different fragments of English literature – Indian Writing in English, Literary Criticism, History of English Literature, Poetry and Drama. Her research area centres on African American theatre, feminist consciousness, and Dalit literature.
