Dr. Dawa Tsering

Dr. Dawa Tsering comes from the exiled Tibetan community and graduated with the first MD batch in Sowa-Rigpa from CIHTS. He has been interest in Sowa-Rigpa Pharmacology and Materia Medica. He has written his MD thesis on the same subject entitled “The Nomenclature of Sowa-Rigpa Materia Medica”. He has published research papers in the Sowa-Rigpa Journal and websites, and has presented his articles in conferences.

Currently, he is serving at CIHTS as a Guest Lecturer cum Pharmacologist at Ludrub Teaching Pharmacy under the Department of Sowa-Rigpa, and also pursuing Ph.D. in Sowa-Rigpa.
