Kalachakra Mandapa
To provide the spiritual solace to the students and all the members of the staff colony, the Institute has a traditional Lord Buddha’s temple known as Kalachakra Mandapa. The idea of the temple was conceived with His Holiness’s Kalachakra initiation. It has a huge idol of lifelike Buddha carved out of a single stone. The temple is located on a highly raised platform and the premises are also used for meditation, spiritual gains, worshipping, yoga and other activities. The Tibetan new year, Losar, attracts many visitors who seek the blessings of Lord Buddha and tie the traditional Tibetan prayer flags which can be seen hanging all around the mandapa. Various birth and death anniversaries of the saints and deities are observed in the premises of the Kalachakra mandapa.
