The lush green 29-acre campus is  home to various types of flora and fauna. The natural foliage renders a safe haven for the bird life and the other organic life forms across the campus which is dotted with fountains, ornamental ponds, flower beds, traditional architectural marvels and various state of the art buildings. A wholesome medical garden has been designed and developed on the campus. The campus has also been declared as a no cracker and no plastic zone as well. The peaceful and serene environment provides the appropriate milieu to the students to learn, study and meditate.

The institute infrastructure includes administrative offices and four academic buildings with a mixture of traditional and modern classrooms along with offices for teachers and teaching assistants. The academic buildings are endowed with a beautiful balance of the traditional along with the state of the art highly technological modern classrooms. All the modern classrooms are equipped with touch screen panels enabling the faculty members to adopt the ICT tools and teach with PPTs, audio-video aids and other advanced pedagogical techniques. All the conference rooms, faculty cabins, along with the hostels and administrative units are fully backed up by an efficient generator system.
There is a resourceful Central library, two guest houses, and more than seven conference facilities. The Atisha Hall, which is equipped with the state of the art projection facility, also works like a mini theatre as well as a functional place for conferences, seminars and cultural activities. The residential campus has four well lit hostels separately for boys and girls. A fully furnished residential colony on the campus provides comfortable living conditions for the employees. The quarters are well equipped with the modern amenities.

The Institute also has two health centres and the medical facilities are also extended to the general public via Sowa-Rigpa clinic. The Yuthok Sowa-Rigpa Medical College and Hospital stands out as a modern marvel and has deeply impacted the needs of humanity at large. There are sports and recreational facilities on the campus with considerable fields and dedicated facilities for various sports like football, basketball and badminton. A large sports ground, flood lit with ample light allows the students to practice and organize games after sunset. All hostels are equipped with gyms, study rooms, and other basic amenities. A centralized student mess is located in the middle of the campus along with a well functioned cafeteria which serves both the Indian and Tibetan cuisines.
