STUDENT LIFE
The life of students in the campus is full of vibrant activities. The students of the programme aim to excel towards holistic development. The pursuit of knowledge in the Institute is through the route of happiness. The students do not delve into rat race of the survival of the fittest, instead they learn and grow together to become better human beings. The wellness of the students is the primary concern of the Institute which they achieve through engaging in activities like, volunteering in various religious functions, meditation and mindful living. Sustainability and mindfulness play primary importance in the lives of the students of the Institute. The students not only enjoy the cultural and community based activities but they also engage themselves with serving the needs of every living being, such as, dogs, birds, etc
Though the Centre is dedicated to train the students in teaching pedagogies, yet the out of classroom experience add to their holistic development. Students get an exposure to various forms of co-curricular activities. Art is the expression of human creativity, the inner rhythms of the living soul. Art is integral to the life of the students of the campus. They delve into singing, dancing, painting and crafting to conscientiously use their spare time. The life of the students in the campus is highly influenced by art and nature the two life affirming forces. These creative, imaginative and highly emotive activities of the students add value and mirth to the environs of the campus. It is due to the vibrancy of the students of the Institute that in the heart of Varanasi there exists the majesty, dynamism and hues of the Himalayas.
The students are also political aware of their rights as young students and therefore actively associate themselves with Student Welfare groups such as, SWA and MMC. These activities not only affirm the awareness of the students but also mark their sense of responsibility since they actively work to take the onus of each other and the needs of the student community.
