Sowa-Rigpa Research & Development:
Sowa-Rigpa aims for the prevention and cure of disorders and diseases. However, despite the rich literature resources and clinical care available, scientific validation of the treatments need to be done on a much wider scale. In view of this, the Sowa-Rigpa College formed this department with the primary objectives:
- To restore ancient rare literatures and historical aspects of Sowa-Rigpa.
- To develop human resource especially to inculcate scientific aptitude and expertise relating to Sowa-Rigpa.
- To identify, initiate and exercise the most effective therapeutic regimen.
- To identify formulations, strengths and weaknesses and corrective measures.
- To provide training, internships and skill development for budding scientists and Sowa-Rigpa practitioner.
- To find relevant new and emerging technological and scientific advances and developments for incorporation into Sowa-Rigpa for understanding fundamental principles, diagnostic techniques, therapeutic intervention, pharmacological processing and standardization.
