Profile: Mrs. Chime Tsomo joined the CIHTS in the year 1986 and she is one of the first batch girl student . S he received Acharya degree in 1997. After graduation she earned B.Ed. from the CIHTS. At present she is serving the CIHTS as the Senior Publication Assistant in the Publication Unit.

Profile: Dr. Lalit Kumar Negi has completed Acharya, M.Phil and Ph.D. degree from CIHTS. He has restored and translated the third, fourth and fifth passages of ‘Vyakhyayukti’ by Acharya vasubandhu. He is working as Publication Assistant in Publication Department of the institute since 2018. He has translated the English book ‘Dukpa Yogi’ (Dragon Yogis) in Hindi which has been published by Dukpa Publications, Delhi in 2021. He is well versed with the Bhujimol script. Many of his research articles have been published in Dhih research journal and others.

Profile: Shri Pema Choeden has received his highest master Degree (Acharya) fromCentral Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi. He is a permanentemployee of this Institute joined asTechnical Assistant, in Publication Unit on 1stJanuary 1993. Further the post of Technical Assistant was re-designated asPublication Assistants w.e.f 11.10.1999. and later he was promoted toAssistant Editor in the same Unit in 2018. Shri Pema Choeden mainly looksafter to prepare CRC of books to be published from Publication Unit, CIHTS.His main works are such as editing of Tibetan texts, formatting, setting, proof-reading, foot-notes, pagination and revision etc. in addition, he also looksafter office works

Profile: Pema Tenzin completed his Acharya (M.A.) from CIHTS, Sarnath and thereafter did a 3 years Rigorous Training Course (M.Phil.) in Sanskrit from CIHTS. Subsequently, he was appointed as a Research Assistant in Research. He did his Ph.D. on Restoration of Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend into Sanskrit from Tibetan with its commentary by Acharya Mahamati from Sampurnananda Sanskrit University, Varanasi and got it published later as a book from CIHTS. He was initially appointed as Research Assistant in September 1985 and has been working on regular post since March 1987. He has, since then restored, edited and translated many books on Buddhist Philosophy and published them from CIHTS. At present, he is Professor and Head of the Translation Department in Research.
Professor Pema Tenzin has received two awards, namely Vividha Puraskara in 1988 & 1994 respectively in recognition for his two books from Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Academy, Lucknow in the early stage of his service. He has participated and attended more than 50 National/International Seminars with and without paper presentations, has attended and participated in over 50 workshops and has published more than 40 articles in various journals.

Profile: Shiv Prakash Singh has obtained the degree of Sahitacharya (M.A.) from Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi. He is currently working as Publication Assistant in Publication Unit at CIHTS. His responsibilities include inputting the texts available in languages like Hindi, English, Pali, Sanskrit etc., formatting, proof reading, setting and preparing CRC files for printing.
