THINLEY WANGCHUK
Thinley Wangchuk is an alumnus of JNU, Delhi and Central European University, Budapest. He holds Masters in Modern History and a Master’s in Comparative History respectively from these two universities. He is currently engaged in teaching history to B.A. B.Ed. students in Center for Teacher’s Education as Assistant Professor. He has been teaching history of the world and India for four years.
He is interested in the 20་་ century Tibetan history, colonialism, intellectual history and in the philosophy of history. Currently, he is working on the idea of “space of possibilities in the Colonialism” and aim to observe result of reading colonialism contradictorily by focusing on the writings of Tibetan scholar Gedun Chophel.
