Dr. Tashi Tsering holds a Ph.D. degree from CIHTS. Presently he is working as Research Assistant in the Research Department of the institute. His work entails lexicography, restoration of texts, translation, research and editing. He is proficient in Tibetan, Hindi, Sanskrit, English and Pali. His areas of interest include study of ancient Buddhist archaeological sites, Buddhist Religion and Philosophy and Vipassana meditation.
