Dr. Urgyen

Dr. Urgyen did his Ph.D. from Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies. He is currently working as Assistant Professor of Tibetan History and Culture in the Department of Social Science Faculty of Adhunika Vidya. His teaching areas are Tibetan History and History of Buddhism in Tibet and India. His research Interest is in the area of the Patron and Priest relationship between Gaden Phodrang Government and Qing Dynasty (1728-1912).
