An Integrated Pedagogical Approach: The Panch Mahavidyas
Incorporating a very meaningful approach to its way of teaching, CIHTS covers an entire range of Tibetan studies and their respective ancillary disciplines which fall under the umbrella of five major subjects or fields popularly known as Panch Mahavidyas. These five fields are interrelated and help to develop both the mind and the heart, and to strike a balance between the individual, community and the environment.
From this integrated framework, departments offer different courses which also incorporated modern subjects such as Economics and Political Science.
