College Council
Introduction:
As per NCISM MSE 2022, it is mandate to have a Sowa-Rigpa Medical College Council comprising of the Heads of Department, Medical Superintendent or Deputy Medical Superintendent as Members and Principal or Dean or Director as Chairperson. Since 2020, the Department was under the Faculty of Sowa-Rigpa & Bhot Jyotish. However, with the implementation the new directives from the NCISM 2022, the College Council was formed.
Aims & Objectives:
to express views on:
- annual plan,
- budget,
- establishments,
- developments,
- maintenance of academic standards,
- curriculum and training programme,
- enforcement of discipline,
- other academic matters,
- co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
organise inter-departmental meetings, grand rounds, statistical meetings
