Profile: Graduated with Bachelor and Master degrees in Bon Buddhist Philosophy from CIHTS, also obtained degree in BLIS (Bechelor of Library and Information Science) from IGNOU (Indra Gandhi National Open University).I have two years of working experience as a research assisant at ACIP (Assian Classic Input Project).

Obtained my ADCA (Advance Diploma in Computer Applications) certificate from Explosionweb training centre, and also well trained in video documentation, still life photography and live webcast of any event on various social media platforms. Presently working as a Multimedia Technician for the archival of video documentation and digitization of rare manuscripts at Multimedia Section of Shantarakshita Library, CIHTS since 2018.

Stanzin Tonyot

Stanzin Tonyot has completed his Acharya (MA) in Baudh Darshan from Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies. He received sis M.Phil. degree from CIHTS on ‘The Concept of Mind and Mental Factors from Buddhist and Science point of view’ from the Department of Moolshastra. He also received B.Lib, Sc. and M.Lib. Sc. Degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Buddhist Philosophy from CIHTS.

He has presented four research papers in national level seminars and conferences and attended more than ten international and national seminars, symposiums, conferences, and workshops. He has published more than 5 research articles in different journals and cultural magazines.

Presently, he is working in the Multimedia Section of Shantarakshita Library. His areas of interest and responsibilities are Digitization, Scanning, Digital documentations, data entry of new books in Tibetan Languages, Classification, and Cataloguing (Tibetan, accession in SLIM, BRR entry in SLIM), Videography and Video editing of national in international conferences, seminars and Buddhist teaching etc. He is a nominated member of Publication and Media Cell of the Institute.

TENZIN DHONYOE

Profile:   Tenzin Dhonyoe received a Shastri degree (Silver Medalist) and Acharya degree (Bronze Medalist) from Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies. After graduation he earned a B.LIS from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur and M.LIS from Madurai Kamaraj University,  Madurai with first division.

He joined the Multimedia section of Shantarakshita Library as Semi Professional Assistant (Contractual) in 2004. He led and completed numerous Audio Visual documentation projects and Digitisation Projects within campus and offsite successfully.

He is Section In-charge of the Multimedia Section  since 2018. Multimedia technology and ICT  are the fields he keeps exploring due to his keen interest in these fields.

Tenzin Kalden

Profile: Tenzin Kalden has graduated with Bachelor and Master degrees in Buddhist Philosophy from CIHTS. She also has a degree in BLIS (Bachelor of Library and Information Science) from IGNOU and MLIS (Master of Library and Information science) from Rajshree Tandon Open University.

She was appointed as cashier in the Sowa Rigpa department in 2017 where she has worked for almost one and half year and was appointed as casual worker in Multimedia Section Shantarakshita Library in 2018. Her main role of working is scanning the microfiche and microfilm in digitized form for future use.
